New View FiberWorks, LLC, was launched in 2008 as part of the Craft Guild of St Mary’s County. Seven women had a plan to offer their high quality fiber products to the Southern Maryland area. In 2011, we took the plunge and moved to the town square in historic Leonardtown, in what used to be the Do Dah Deli. After a major renovation, we opened our doors in July 2011.

Over the years, we have grown and welcomed new members and sadly said goodbye to others. We have stayed with the mission that everything is handmade or up-cycled in some way by members in the Tri-County area. We have expanded to include pottery, woodworking, bath and body items, and jewelry. We are constantly trying new projects and stretching our horizons.

In addition to our products, we also offer classes in our downstairs studio. Students can learn to weave, spin, and felt for a reasonable fee. New View Fiberworks also rents spinning wheels and table looms for home use. Other classes include crochet, tatting, and knitting. Classes and workshops are always changing, please check out our class page for upcoming events.

Thank you for visiting our page. We hope you will stop in and say hello!
