I grew up watching my mother and grandmother sew and knit and when I was ten, they both gave into my begging and showed me how to get started. Later I learned to spin and in college I spent my last two credits learning to weave. Over the years I have found that I love pretty much everything to do with fiber and fabric and am always ready to learn new techniques, although my main concentrations are spinning, knitting, weaving, and crochet. I especially like stranded knitting and lace.
